These are a series of etchings focusing on the subject of a Cornwall Shipwreck from the late 19th century.
On the southwestern tip of England, The Lizard wrecked in the Isles of Scilly. This ship in particular, was heading towards West Africa from Thames and wrecked upon the islands on the outskirts of Cornwall.
By exploring line etching, viscosity printing, and open-biting, I was able to achieve different moods for each print.
Each image represents time passing away as we transition to a period of bias context within history, unfortunately.
