bio
(b. 1997, Tampa Bay, FL.)
Logan R. Bishop is an artist who lives and works in Connecticut. His practice has a foundation in printmaking. The written word is important for Bishop and he reads and develops poetry as visual form. It is realized through drawing. The works are immediate to tell stories of presence and of nostalgia. Through organic and inorganic materials the forms begin to develop a mythos of their own.
Currently, Bishop is an MFA '24 candidate at UConn. He is from Clearwater, Florida and received his BFA in Graphic Arts with a concentration in Illustration from USF. Bishop has been a grant recipient of the United States Artist's Relief Grant. They've worked on publishing projects in printmaking for artists such as Paula Scher while assisting Master Printer Erika Greenberg-Schneider at Bleu Acier Inc.
